As hacking is a for-profit business, it should come as any suprise that hackers are trying to keep ahead of the multitude of security fixes released by Microsoft and product companies. Not so long ago, virus scanners and pop-up preventers were preferred targets (see “Security Tools Under Attack” , as disabling these applications could allow unobserved access to a system.

Well, as always, theres more. Hackers are shifting targets away from more secure applications to new targets. Theres been a bit of news in the past week:
